Jasmeen Basra

Dr. Jasmeen Basra

Jasmeen qualified from Bristol University with multiple credits and commendations. She has subsequently worked in various dental practices in Berkshire before joining Ash Tree House in 2009. Since qualifying, she has completed the Royal College of Surgeons MJDF examinations and continues to have a special interest in restorative dentistry and root canal treatment. Jasmeen took over Ash Tree House as Principal Dentist in 2012 and strives to provide state-ofthe- art dentistry for her patients.

Jasmeen is passionate about dentistry and regularly attends post graduate courses to keep abreast of the latest developments in dentistry to ensure that patient care at Ash Tree House Dental Surgery is of the highest standard.

She is married to Harry and enjoys swimming and travelling.

Hardeep Basra

Dr. Hardeep (Harry) Basra BDS (Hons)
DipDSed (GKT) MJDF RCS (Eng) CertRest(UCL)

Harry qualified from Guys, Kings and St Thomas's Dental Hospital with a honours degree in Dentistry. Since qualifying he has worked in various Dental practices and Dental Hospitals. Harry is committed to continuing professional development through post-graduate education. He has completed the Royal College of Surgeons MJDF examinations. He has also attained the Diploma in Sedation from Guy's Dental Hospital as well as the certificate in restorative dentistry from the University College London - Eastman Dental Institute. Currently he is on route to completing the Royal College of Surgeons MFDS examinations.

His special interests include restorative and special care dentistry. Harry enjoys all aspects of dentistry- restorative dentistry, aesthetic dentistry, veneers, crowns, bridgework and tooth-coloured fillings. He specialises in dealing with nervous patients.

Away from the practice he enjoys playing football, watching football - especially if Barcelona are playing and going to the gym. Harry and Jasmeen both enjoy travelling, experiencing new cultures and cuisines.

 

Calvin Veeroo

Dr. Calvin Veeroo BDS ( Brist) MFDS RCS (Edin )

Calvin graduated from Bristol university in 2003, and achieved postgraduate qualification to become Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons Edinburgh in 2005. Calvin has gained a wide range of experience in practice, hospital and overseas settings.

His career aim is to treat patients as he would want to be treated, to build a friendly and trusting relationship. He endeavours to take time and care to listen and adapt to your needs.

He enjoys providing a full range of a dental services, with a particular interest in cosmetic/aesthetic procedures. He is our Inman aligner provider. Out of clinic he enjoys time with his family, music, football and kickboxing.

Mary Quinn

Dr. Mary Quinn, BDS(L'pool) DPDS (Bristol)

Mary qualified from Liverpool many more years than she likes to remember, actually in 1984!

She has gained wide experience both in hospital where she undertook Senior House Officer roles in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and Oral Medicine, also in some general dental practices where she has undertaken the complete range of treatments.

Over the years she has particularly enjoyed seeing patients over a long time and getting to know them and their families as they grow.

She regularly attends postgraduate courses and did undertake the Bristol University Open Learning Diploma.

She is married with two boys, who have kept her busy over many years, she enjoys walking,swimming and travelling.

Hema Pankhania

Hema Pankhania (BchD) Leeds

Dr Hema Pankhania qualified from Leeds University. Her caring and friendly nature enables patients to feel at ease whilst undergoing treatment. Her main interests lie in treating nervous patients. In her spare time she enjoys going to the gym and socialising with friends.

 

Geeta Mehtani

Dr Geeta Mahtani (BDS) Newcastle

Geeta qualified from Newcastle University. She travelled to Tanzania in 2011 where she gained insight into the work of healthcare professionals in East Africa and participated in dental volunteer work at Iringa Regional Hospital. Her experience showed her a different aspect to dental care in a part of the world where oral health is heavily determined by both social and economical factors.

She also carried out a two week elective in Vietnam where she was part of a team of six volunteers. Over the period the team treated over 600 orphans in both a clinical and an outreach centre, carrying out procedures from extractions to fluoride application and oral health education.

She has a caring nature and is dedicated to easing anxious patients with their experiences in the dental environment. She enjoys helping to motivate patients to maintain a high standard of oral health. She has recently completed her MJDF part 1 examination and is undertaking an advanced restorative course to develop her skills and interest in aesthetic dentistry.

Other hobbies include a strong passion for baking, fitness and traveling

Rebecca

Dr. Rebecca Smith

Rebecca graduated from Sheffield Dental School and has been based around the area for most of her life, before moving down south and joining Ash Tree House in 2017.

Training in Sheffield Rebecca spent time at three dental practices, in both general and community dental services. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is enthusiastic about promoting a preventative approach to dental care. She strives to make her patients feel at ease in the surgery, and takes great satisfaction in working together with patients to achieve a healthy mouth.

At weekends Rebecca is usually found riding bikes around the Chilterns (or occasionally racing bikes around the country), but also revels in the few quiet weekends spent with a good book!

Jonathan Cochrane

Dr. Jonathan Cochrane
BDS, MFGDP(UK), MFDS RCS, CertConSed, MSc (Dental Implantology)

Jonathan graduated from the University of Bristol in 2012. Since graduating he has worked in private practice mainly in the Bristol area, however, now he performs Oral Surgery (by referral) in many practices across the South of England.

He was awarded Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners, Royal College of Surgeons of England, MFGDP(UK) in 2013 and Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS RCS) in 2014. Jonathan has a particular interest in providing dental treatment for nervous patients with the aid of sedation and in 2017 completed a Conscious Sedation degree at UCL (Eastman Dental Institute), London.

Continuing with postgraduate education, in 2017 he became the youngest dentist to graduate from the University of Bristol with a 3-year Master's degree (MSc) in Dental Implantology. Jonathan's special interest is the field of Oral Surgery; this includes removing troublesome wisdom teeth or using Dental Implants to rebuild a patient's smile. Outside of work, Jonathan's passions are skiing, automobiles and outdoor pursuits; the more adventurous, the better!
